Breaking News: The Senate approves stimulus checks!

The amount approved for stimulus checks is $1200 for individuals, $2400 for couples, and $500 per child under 17. Partial checks are also awarded to families making $99,000 or less per year for each adult. To qualify for the full amount, each adult in the household must make under $75,000 gross per year. If you filed taxes last year or this year, they will use that filing to determine your gross income. You will receive the money based on how you asked to receive money on your taxes— direct deposit or check.

The Super 4 Ways to Use Your Stimulus Check

Woo! You got paid. ...Now what? Here are my 4 super ways to use that check:

1. If you currently have no income, buy groceries and pay your monthly bills.

2. If you still have income but no savings, you absolutely need to save it! We don’t know what will happen during this pandemic. Don’t spend it unless it’s absolutely necessary! 3. If you have income and 6 months savings, then pay off debt. If you can eliminate a monthly payment with this extra money, then do so. If you don’t have 6 months savings, then make sure you save this before paying off your debt. 4. If you’re super awesome and have your life completely together, then I guess blow it on a new TV or future vacation! ...Or give it to me. Seriously, I won’t say no! 😏😂
